Personal Profile
Yingjie Wang is a Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor in the School of Computer and Control Engineering at Yantai University, where she previously served as Dean. She is a recipient of the Shandong Province Excellent Young Scientists Fund and serves as the Founding Director of both the Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory of Service Computing Technology and Systems and the Shandong Provincial University Future Industry Engineering Research Center for Aerospace Information Fusion and Service Computing.
She holds several notable professional roles, including IEEE Senior Member, CCF Distinguished Member, Publicity Chair and Diversity Chair of the IEEE Technical Committee on Services Computing (TCSVC), and Deputy Secretary-General of the CCF Technical Committee on Service Computing.
Her research expertise centers on service computing, crowdsensing networks, and artificial intelligence. She has led multiple research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the Shandong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, including the Excellent Young Scientists Program. Additionally, she leads an innovation team under the Shandong Provincial University Youth Innovation Science and Technology Program.
Prof. Wang has authored 117 high-quality papers in prestigious journals and conferences such as IEEE TMC, IEEE TSC, IEEE TII, IEEE TCC and so on. Of these, 5 are recognized as ESI Highly Cited Papers, and 1 is a Hot Paper. She has also received 4 Best Paper Awards at international conferences. Her publications have been cited more than 3,000 times in total, with 11 papers cited over 100 times each.
In terms of intellectual property, she holds 20 authorized invention patents as the first inventor, including 1 U.S. patent and 19 Chinese patents, two of which have been commercialized. She has also contributed to the development of 2 group standards.
Her work has been recognized with several awards, including the First Prize of Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (2025), the First Prize of Shandong Provincial Teaching Achievement Award (2025), the First Prize of Shandong Artificial Intelligence Natural Science Award (2023), the CAAI Service Computing Young Talent Award (2022), and the Outstanding Youth Award of Shandong Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award (2020).
Prof. Wang actively contributes to the academic community through roles such as Organizing Chair, Publicity Chair, and Publication Chair for various international conferences, and serves as a reviewer for several prestigious journals. She also participates in the peer review process as a panel reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China, acts as a Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Commissioner, and provides expertise as a Corporate Technology Consultant.
